**Properties of Aluminum** ■ Lightweight The specific gravity of lightweight aluminum is 2.7, making it very light compared to iron (7.8) and copper (8.9), approximately one-third the weight of those metals. Therefore, it enhances performance and efficiency in transportation fields such as automobiles, railway vehicles, ships, airplanes, and rockets, as well as in high-speed rotating components like wheels and pistons. ■ Corrosion-resistant Aluminum is a metal that easily oxidizes, forming an oxide film quickly. This oxide film acts as a protective layer, making it highly resistant to corrosion. By applying surface treatments such as anodizing, its corrosion resistance can be further enhanced. ■ Easy to process Aluminum can be easily processed through various plastic deformation methods such as rolling, extrusion, forging, and molding. It can create various complex shapes, like the thin aluminum foil commonly found in households or extruded profiles. ■ High thermal conductivity The thermal conductivity of aluminum is about two-thirds that of copper and approximately three times that of iron. This characteristic is utilized in many applications, such as heating and cooling systems, heat sinks, and beverage cans, to enhance heat dissipation and absorption effects.

We would like to introduce some examples of aluminum processing we have conducted. This work is a frame component that accompanies a medical device made of aluminum material. The design allows for electrical equipment to be assembled inside the frame, with the left and right protrusions fitting into the rails, making it easy to assemble. The C-shaped parts at the four corners of the frame have been subjected to tapping (threading) processing, allowing for a separate part to be attached as a cover. We at Aluminum Factory specialize in the production of aluminum processed products used in industrial machinery, automobiles, and medical machine parts. We would like to introduce some examples of aluminum processing that we have conducted. This work is a structural component made of aluminum (aluminum truss). The assembly part of this work (the protruding shape on the rectangular side) cannot be finished at a right angle due to the wire cutting process, resulting in a shape that inevitably has a radius of 0.3mm from the wire cutting. As a result, there was a problem where the block would float when combined with this component and the block component. By adding a "relief" section to the extrusion mold, we were able to solve the problem with the extrusion molding. The groove shape in the center of the product serves as a rail, allowing for positional adjustment of the mounting part and improving the flexibility of installation. This work was originally produced overseas, but it has now been decided to produce it domestically. Therefore, we will produce it at our company, which carries out everything from extrusion processing to cutting processing in a consistent manner. In this case, while the technical difficulty of the extrusion processing is not high, the work itself is relatively large, necessitating a large mold for the extrusion process. We would like to introduce some examples of aluminum processing that we have conducted. This work is an example of a cylinder for opening and closing doors made from extruded aluminum material. It operates by passing air through it, allowing the piston to move back and forth, which opens and closes the door. To facilitate easy opening and closing, we have applied anodizing treatment to reduce friction resistance. For extruded materials, anodizing treatment can be applied depending on the specifications. By performing anodizing treatment, we can prevent scratches, corrosion, and friction.
